Dear Sir,

OUR PLEA FOR JUSTICE AND CONSIDERATION ON BEHALF OF ILAJE-ETIKAN KINGDOM

It is with a sincere sense of humility and purpose that we write this letter to you. First, accept our sincere congratulatory wishes on your victory at the just concluded election and at the court. Your victory is the inviolable and unimpeachable will of God and no one can upturn it. While rejoicing with you and entire Ilajeland on this historic feat, we pray for justice and equitable distribution of opportunities in the area of appointments. We will like to draw your attention to a few things in the political history of Ilajeland.

With the prestigious position in the state being in the hand of an ILAJE man, the aggrieved and subjected areas in ILAJE should be appeased with political appointment.

To be considered for a political appointment, there are lots to put into consideration, like Background investigation, financial disclosure, Security clearance, Zoning arrangements, and above all is Loyalty. 

With all this numerous yardstick in the political cline, ETIKAN KINGDOM has many Sons and daughters, who are capable and experienced to be given consideration. In fact, it's not an exaggeration to say ETIKAN has the most brilliant, vibrant, trustworthy and a reliable Leaders in ILAJE entirely.

Holding to the past administration analysis, UGBO, MAHIN and AHERI have all benefited from the tentacles of appointment being spread by the Governors.

We appeal to Mr. Governor, in his mercy and love to kindly consider ETIKAN KINGDOM in any of the juices state appointments.

Posterity won't judge anybody if the Governor decided to break the yoke by throwing OSOPADEC chairman to ETIKAN KINGDOM. Hitherto to the fact that, the Governor is from UGBO, Outgoing state Commissioners and Secretary/Acting OSOPADEC chairman are all from UGBO, the newly endorsed/selected ILAJE LG. Chairman is from UGBO also.

MAHIN has occupied the office of the NDDC, The outgoing ILAJE Local Government Chairman is from MAHIN. We are all aware that the next  OSOPADEC chairman is going to Constituency 2 based on the antecedent of the commission but we believe the Governor will right the wrong this time around by given the OSOPADEC chairman to ETIKAN KINGDOM..

AHERI kingdom too has Hon. Ajose Kudehinbu as the Chairman Civil Service Commission. It is only Etikan Kingdom that is short-changed. Despite our size and numerical strength, we polled over 2000 votes even with just 13 units as against those who have 20-36 polling units. Etikan believes so much and gave more votes. We will be eternally grateful to you if we can get justice under your watch.

As a student of history, delving into the past offices in the state Commissioner being occupied by UGBO, MAHIN and AHERI is very very sacrosanct.

ETIKAN KINGDOM has not been considered in those offices

Etikan Kingdom hasn't been considered at all. In the present dispensation, its Only Etikan Kingdom that has no tangible appointment except the SA recently given to Tale Adebawo. 

We plead to you to serve justice to Etikan by appointing any of our illustrious sons and daughters for the appointment of either OSOPADEC Chairman or state Commissioners.

Owning to the results of the last election, ETIKAN came 6th position out of 12 wards in ILAJE Local Government, despite the fact that we lost 3 of our most vibrant members 3 days before the election. ETIKAN could have garnered the highest votes if not for the incident, yet the people summon up the courage to drum the support for the Mr. Governor. This shows that the leaders were all dedicated and worked tirelessly for the victory of Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

We plead with you Sir, never to allow the ultimate price paid by the 3 patriots of ETIKAN KINGDOM who lost their lives to the accident be in vain.

It's on this mandate and with a bleeding heart, we the people of ETIKAN KINGDOM cry unto Mr. Governor to temper justice with mercy on ETIKAN, by considering our Sons and Daughters in his state appointment, most especially the OSOPADEC chairman.

Mr. Governor Sir, in conclusion Etikan Kingdom had always been a victim of ceaseless marginalisation and we hope we will get justice under your watch, since your emergence and survival were all products of justice.

We know you to be a Leader who believe in the principle of fairness and justice,

ETIKAN KINGDOM deserves to be the OSOPADEC chairman.
