Following his victory at the just concluded Ondo State All Progressive Party (APC) Primary election, well wishers have continued to congratulate His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his resounding victory as the fly bearer for the general election, come November.

Ondo State and Ilaje-Etikan breed groit and scholar, S. Ola Ajimisan has joined the millions of well-wishers and party faithfuls to congratulate Governor Aiyedatiwa.

In a concise message titled; "ONE HURDLE DOWN! MOVE AHEAD AND SURMOUNT THE NEXT!", the Scholar writes;

May I, at this juncture, celebrate and congratulate "our star", the man "favoured by fate and hate", Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa on his inviolable victory at the APC's primary election. This victory is a divine orchestration and must not be taken for granted. I also use this rare opportunity to also earnestly entreat you to be magnanimous in victory and unite all factions and sectional interests. This is a contest between princes and princesses of a united kingdom who are all eminently qualified as kings and queens. I also implore those who won behind the overall winner not to see themselves as losers but dogged fighters. However, this contest and its outcome must not be allowed to precipitate murderous desire to pull down the kingdom. Let us put the results of the election behind us and move on because those who wake at dawn and face the west will not see the sunrise and its attendant fortune and goodies. The larger kingdom is needed in surmounting the next hurdle. The nation, our dear state and party are now before global gaze. We, therefore, need to tread softly. Once again, the victory is not for Governor Ayedatiwa but for our party. We must thus, come together more than before to win big in the general election. May APC succeed! May Governor Ayedatiwa succeed and may Ondo State flourish exceedingly under his watch!
